Dairy Dreams
When the site is limited, sometimes, unconventional design solutions are to be found to cater to the needs of the project. Dairy Dreams gave that opportunity due to its small area. A small ice-cream parlour of merely 350 sq ft, in Bahadurabad was too compact to provide with seating space. The initial idea of the client was to provide only the take-away services but the architect wanted to go a step further.
Resonating with the feel of an ice-cream, the parlour gives a light and cold feeling due to the choice of the color palette. Instead of just a take away, architects opted for a fun feature to let you enjoy your ice-cream literally, in-the-air, with the two cantilevered walls. The scooped out seatings from the walls are back lit, forming the private nooks while giving a cool glow to the frames.
